Raised on the rainy edges of Vancouver’s coastline and shaped by travels through New Orleans and Nashville, Steph Wall’s music blurs the line between genres but cuts straight to the heart. With roots in jazz, soul, alt-pop, and soft psychedelia, Wall’s songs are emotionally driven, blending vivid textures with candid storytelling. She has since collaborated with artists across genres, steadily building a catalogue that resists easy categorization and feels both deeply personal and invitingly expansive.

Her upcoming single “Pounce” (August 2026)  is an alternative R&B track, built around fuzzy driving guitars and an instantly memorable hook. Drawing inspiration from artists like Remi Wolf and Qendresa, Wall pairs laid-back vocals with descriptive lyricism to channel restless flirtation and playful confidence.

Since the release of LP, Wall Plays Hall (2019), Wall has continued to evolve with each new project. Her 2023 LP My Angels was described by Exclaim! as "defying categorization," highlighting her genre-fluid songwriting and intimate lyricism. She followed it with the 2025 EP TANG!, further embracing playful, genre-blurring sounds while exploring themes of connection, desire, and self-trust. Her music has been featured on Spotify's Fresh Finds playlist and has received airplay throughout Canada and the United States. She also performs throughout British Columbia and has opened for touring artists including Odie Leigh.
