Steph Wall is an enigmatic alternative/soul singer hailing from Vancouver, B.C. These days, her music transcends traditional genre boundaries, pulling inspiration from jazz heroes, Americana songwriters, and pop divas alike. Wall describes her latest single release, Velcro, as “velvet alternative”- a blend of surf and soul with an Americana twang. 

Exploring themes of human relationships, with themes of personal transformation, collective growth, and the knife edge between grief and joy. To quote a couple of guys that stumbled into Steph’s most recent show at Tyrant Studios from the strip club downstairs: “This is like therapy”

Wall’s most recent LP, “My Angels” (June 2024) was described by Exclaim! as “defying categorization”. It showcases Wall’s ability to seamlessly blend genres while providing an intimate look into Wall’s life. Wall has gone on to tour provincially and perform locally in Vancouver, opening for touring artists like Odie Leigh.
